Which of the two?
Two of ours, four minutes apart on the same square. Different rooms, different kitchens, and each keeps its own book, so it is worth knowing which one you are choosing.

La Piazza
Where it started, in 2003
Two brothers opened this room a few steps off the piazza and everything the name now covers grew out of it. Venetian and Italian cooking, fish from the Adriatic, pasta made in the building, pizza from the oven. The casual one: you can walk in at four in the afternoon and eat properly.

Four minutes away, a different evening
Our second Venice room: contemporary rather than traditional, built around seasonal ingredients and refined technique, with an international cellar kept in temperature controlled cabinets. The one to book when the meal is the evening rather than a stop in it.

Getting to San Marco
By vaporetto
The nearest stops are San Marco Vallaresso and San Zaccaria. Both leave you a short walk across the piazza.
On foot
From the Basilica, about three minutes to 615 with no bridge to cross. The church of San Zulian is the landmark to aim for.
If you get lost
Venice addresses defeat most map apps. Call us and we will talk you in, or open the directions link on the restaurant’s own page.
